ENJOY YOUR PHOTOSHOOT
Baby photography is very popular in recent years and every day dozens of new photographers are joining the sector.
Please ask the following questions when choosing your photographer in order to find the right one for you.
- How Many Years Have You Been Working as a Newborn Photographer? How Many Baby Shoots Have You Done so far?
- It is very important to figure out the level of experience of a photographer when searching for the right baby photographer. Before booking a photographer, ask them what experience and qualifications they hold.
- What Training Have You Received in Newborn Photography? Have You Received any Specific Newborn Safety Training?
- Professional newborn photographers invest in education geared specifically for the safety of your newborn. Professional newborn photographers should have undertaken training on how to hold and support a newborn baby. They at least need to attend a few training certification programs.
- What Are You Doing for Newborn Baby Safety? How Will You Keep My Baby Safe?
- Be sure to ask your photographer for information about the cleanliness of studios with newborn babies, temperature adjustments, and safety precautions.
- Where Do the Sessions Take Place? On What Conditions?
- Be sure to ask your photographer for information about the cleanliness of studios with newborn babies, temperature adjustments, and safety precautions.
- What Precautions are You Taking Against COVID-19?
- Your photographer should inform you how the studio and clothing are cleaned and how do they follow the health guidelines published by the health organizations.
- How Can We Rearrange the Shooting in case of any Illness?
- You should ask your photographer what to do if you can’t make it for your newborn photo session. Keep in mind that you need to get your newborn photos taken 5 to 15 days after your baby is born.
- Could You Recommend Some Online Sources Where I can Read About Safety Practices on Newborn Shoots?
- Newborn photography requires a lot of patience and skill. Professional newborn photographers are trained in newborn safety. They should be knowledgeable of the baby’s anatomy, reflexes, and circulation issues.
- Are you a member of an Organization or Association Directly Serving Newborn Photographers and Their Educational Needs?
- Babies & Photographers is an association created for baby photographers, focused on their education, branding, and being better in the sector. BPA members receive training on all these issues. I am so happy to bring the best photographers together all around the world.
