Newborn, Baby, and Family Photography in Guelph
Last week, 2 years ago, I packed up my 3 luggages again:)). My lovely friends said goodbye to us and left us at the airport. I felt anxiety, stress, pains in my stomach. Looked at my 4 year old daughter and tried to understand how she felt. I didn't understand at that time but she was depressed for 3 months after we arrived to Canada.
Looking back, I'm so grateful we did something brave. Really brave. With distance, it can be easy for me to forget that we didn't know what was going to happen when we said goodbye to our comfort zone and pursue our dream of taking babies images from all around the world.
Its been 82 countries now and aiming to reach 200 countries😍😍I photographed Canadian, Indian, Cambodian, Italian, French, Pakistanian, South Korean, Dutch, Brazil, Turkish, Chinese, British, Albanian, Spanish, Iranian..etc. babies. OMG
This week we'll open our new website for photographers vendors and we are soooo excited.
I love my families who are with me with this journey. When you know the end of the story, it doesn’t seem as risky. With distance, it can be easy for me to forget that we didn’t know what was going to happen when we said goodbye to our comfort zone to pursue our dream.
When I think about all of my days working in a 1 bedroom apartment, the places we’ve traveled, the amazing clients we‘ve served, the people this career brought into my lives I just feel so unbelievably thankful we took the scary step without knowing what was on the other side.
After I found my way, we (with my husband) created a roadmap to help other photographers get there faster. We opened the first and only Online Academy for Photographers in Turkey. But we have nearly 400 students from Turkey, Germany, France, the United States, and Canada in our Serap Seker Academy. Their stories make us so unbelievably proud.
Just leave your comfort zone and try to do something brave. There is a beautiful quote that I love from Sams Tabrizi:
'It is never late to ask yourself “Am I ready to change my life, am I ready to change myself?”. However old we are, whatever we went through, it is always possible to reborn. If each day is a copy of the last one, what a pity! Every breath is a chance to reborn. But to reborn into a new life, you have to die before dying.'
I moved to Guelph, Ontario in July and opened my newborn, baby, maternity and family photography studio. Just send me a message to book your session or want to know more about the sessions.
I can't wait to meet you and talk about your culture, your country and more importantly about you:))
