Home Newborn Session in Brampton with Alex

Capturing a newborn baby’s first days and weeks is a special experience, but it doesn’t have to end once the baby is older than a newborn.

In fact, I recently had the privilege of photographing an older baby for a newborn photo session, and the results were simply stunning. When photographing an older baby, it’s important to be creative and think outside the box. Instead of focusing on traditional poses, such as the sleepy baby in a basket, look for creative ways to capture the special moments between the baby and the family.

I used props, such as blankets and pillows, to add interest and variety to the photos. When it comes to styling, keep it simple and focus on neutral tones and timeless pieces. Choose comfortable and natural-looking clothes, and avoid overwhelming patterns or dark colours that can distract from the focus of the image. Capturing a newborn baby’s first days and weeks doesn’t have to end once the baby is older than a newborn. With a bit of creativity and the right approach, you can still create beautiful and timeless photos that your client cherishes for years to come.

We talked to Nicole about our newborn photography session in July. It was hectic for her during the month, and guess what. Alex was born early:) When we talked to Nicole again, Alex was already 17 days old. We arranged a home newborn photography session at the last minute in Brampton.

He was so cooperative with us and made our job so easy.

With love,
